Traditional Acupuncture is based on ancient theories of the flow of Qi (Energy) and Xue (Blood) through distinct meridians of pathways that cover the body somewhat like the nerves and blood vessels do. According to ancient theory, acupuncture allows Qi to flow to areas where it is Deficient and away from areas where there is Excess. In this way, acupuncture regulates and restores the harmonious energetic balance of the body.

Dr. Ginsberg’s goal in treating you is first to educate you about your problem. Then to treat the whole person — physically, psychologically, and spiritually. Physical, psychological and spiritual are not separate from each other, but all are interconnected. Then you’ll see and experience the whole picture, not just the parts.

Dr. Ginsberg trained in mainland China in advanced techniques while working for his Oriental Medicine Doctor degree in 1987. He also started the Chinese Medicine Division of the pain clinic in Natividad Medical Center Hospital in Salinas, California. He has been involved in psychiatric counseling for 25 years.

Dr. Ginsberg treats an array of problems including: respiratory, digestive, and urinary dysfunction, psychiatric problems, chronic and acute pain, immune system disorders and gynecological difficulties. He draws upon his skills in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Qi-gong exercises, and nutritional counseling to design an effective treatment for each client.
